Kenneth Lee, MD
Dr. Kenneth Lee is the Neurology Residency Program Director and University of Chicago Sleep Center Medical Director. He completed his medical school training at the University of Cincinnati followed by a residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center where he served as chief resident. He then completed a neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Chicago, followed by a sleep medicine fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He leads one of the oldest comprehensive multidisciplinary clinical sleep centers in the world, encompassing neurology, pulmonary medicine, otolarnyology, psychiatry, pediatrics and creating multiple collaborative patient centered sleep care systems including women's and men's health, oncology, and gastroenterology. He has been an active member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and serves on the Public Safety Committee giving numerous talks regarding safety of melatonin, daylight saving time, and fatigue and sleep in medical education. He also has specific interest in the role of sleep and optimizing daytime performance in professional sports.
